4 Months

Dean had a big month! Here are just some highlights.

He had a visit from cousins. Here he is meeting Jonah (it wasn't always like this, but it was so dang funny I had to capture it).

He decided to see how he'd look with a soul patch.

He did lots of drooling. Yep, that is not a bib. Just drool.

He watched the Olympics.

He had his first play date.

He got a lot more hair. It's super blonde and it's only on the top of his head, so he still looks bald.

Speaking of hair, he mastered the death grip on mine.

He tried out the bouncer Aunt Ellen gave him. He has mixed feelings, but at least I got some cute smiling pictures.

He has been doing a lot more tummy time. He now lasts a few minutes each time without crying. And I've gotten some dang cute pictures.

He's done some pretty cute sleeping. Here he fell asleep during tummy time at Aunt Debbie's house. And he's started (only sometimes) sucking his thumb in his sleep.

He has starting intentionally grabbing the hanging toys on his play mat. He doesn't reach for other toys, but I keep putting them in front of him during tummy time.

He doesn't push up on his hands during tummy time or roll over yet. I can tell his sleep patterns are changing a bit because he's started taking longer naps. This month he slept for 8+ hours about four times. It's definitely not an every night thing, but those good nights are awesome. One night I got to go to bed earlier because Trevor volunteered to do the dream feed and then he even got up with Dean in the middle of the night, so I just got to sleep. My husband is awesome.

I'll keep you posted on the 4 month stats, but seeing as how he still wears 0-3 month clothes, I'm not expecting him to be topping the charts.

Here are his 4 month shots with the blanket and elephant. He spits up a lot, but at least he's happy about it!

Family Pictures

While Nathan and Sarah were here visiting, Sarah was nice enough to take some family pictures for us. I'm pretty much in love with them. And my little family.

I seriously look at these 5 times a day at least. Maybe someday I'll blog about Nathan and Sarah's visit. It was fun and they are super cool.
